Is this 580? 8gb? Worry not, put it in and it goes as nothing happened. that small clip is handy but not vital.

It is the 570 8GB, but it was my old card. Already have the new card in the system now.

Ah I didnt think about that, but your totally right, was a royal pain putting my new card in when I had the Noctua cooler. After a lot of scratches and swearing I had to take the cooler off before I could replaced the card easily.

I use a pencil with a rubber on the end to push the tab as my Dark Rock Pro 4 also means I can’t get my hand in to press the latch.

I took my 3090 out today to do some tidying/dusting - the thing is huge. I hadnt really noticed as I quickly slapped it in when it arrived.

Inconsequential damage + a used market where buyers are desparate. As long at it works, you'll still get a good price for it. Even if you can't get it working for whatever reason, I bet it'd still fetch the best part of a ton on the auction site.

Ohh there were some heavy GPUS and other cards at the time too, I remember some of the systems back then being really heavy too. Some of the servers and workstations were a two people job to lift.

2 part epoxy, no one will ever know.
Just don’t stick anything you don’t want to stick, it’s not super glue so you can’t do the boiling water trick and a&e will be painful

Really?? Best prices i can see online for them is £150ish
