Drums advice needed, please :)

You should really get some lessons - or start working through a book such as Pete Riley's Crash course series.

Get the right posture, get the basics working such as holding your sticks right!

A drum teacher would help a lot in the early days.

yea, i'm going to get some lessons after christmas, don't really have the time or the money at the moment though, i have order a couple of playalong drums from the internet, so hopefully i'll be able to pick up a few things from them.

I also know a couple of drummers so i will be getting advice from them too :)

Nicest electronic kit i've played was craig blundells touring kit, by roland, td9 but upgraded to buggery.

Can't recommend enough saving up for a Roland kit. Plenty of people buy started electronic kits around the £300 and if you're serious about the hobby then it won't last long, and the quality of the pads will make it so much harder to play on a real kit in the future. Save save save and get a entry level Roland kit (much nicer) or go look for a decent quality second hand one.
