drunken injuries?

ok, so i was out in london last night with a few mates seeing the arctic monkeys.

well i get up this morning, head hurts ( yep, can explain that one ).

and i have a badly bruised little finger, well i cant explain that one.

last time it was bruises on my chest and shins.

anyone else wake up with strange injuries?
 
Normally I wake up in strange places, like Hadfield bus depot at 5am on a sunday morning. Still on the bus. Which is now parked up. I live in Manchester........D'oh

Injuries... I've managed to wake up with a gashed hand, blood all over the sheets and wall, and my computer desk snapped in half. Can't remember it, but I think I can figure out what may have occured. That was 15 years ago. Glad I haven't done it since.

a friend of mine is great for this - he went through a spate of ending up in A&E after a night out.... the best was when he fell off the top of a red phone box - apparently "there all curved on top" :rolleyes:
 
My ears were bleeding last night and it felt like somone had stuck 1000 pins into my brain. THen i reliased I was at an Arctic monkies(rubbish name) concert, ran out of the door, and i was cured! :p
 
A friend of mine hospitalised himself when he tried to take a short cut to a nightclub, down a 60ft near-vertical hill. I visited him in hospital, he had a smashed up face and cracked skull, the last thing he remembered was putting an empty champagne bucket on his head as a kind of crash helmet. :D
 
I had a terrible pain in the palm of my hand after a heavy night once, it wasn't until about 3pm that I remembered I had been opening all my beer bottles by smacking the top whilst holding it against a ledge.
 
I broke my hand a couple of months back whilst under the influence

Hurt like **** the day after, there has been more but i cant remember them at the mo
 
been to hospital with injuries after falling (read: jumping) down a large flight of stone steps and into/through a reinforced wired window. I dont remember much from that night but i do remember looking up whilst half in the window laughing at a friend.
 
I've broken my wrist and snapped the tendons in my pinky (separate incidents)


Can't straighten my pinky anymore :(
 
When I was about 17 I ended up getting into a contest to see who could Knee a pool table the hardest... I honestly cant remember the outcome but I remember walking/running around afterwards.

When I woke up the morning after I couldnt actually move my leg it was hurt so badly. :eek:
 
too many, but off my head in the past 3 years ive -

Neally literally cut my thumb off thinking glass on the floor was rain in a nightclub with my friend

Woke up in A&E thinking I was in bed at home to find my face, head and mouth messed up (had to drink my food for a week because i couldnt open my mouth) I either got a kicking or did i clinsman down some concrete steps of a nightclub

Got spike marks all over my back and hands when we thought jumping backwards into thorn bushes was a good idea

Just below my nipple when i jumped into a water mountain and on the way out got cut by a sprayer thing

general bruises from mosh pits (a few years before uni)

Possibly got stabbed by a tramp with a needle so i went for a blood test :eek:

Fell into the electrics box in our house knocking it off. Neally got electrecuted putting it back on in the morning

Kicked a solid pipe and then had to hop home and sleep downstairs (and wee in the kitchen sink)

Punched numerous things like walls, doors bus stops wood fences and now have knuckles that look stupid

Scars on my forearms from falling over

Friend of mine broke his collarbone and was too ****** to notice. We spent the rest of the night playing with his now limp arm.


I woke up on holiday once with a hugely swollen ankle with a wet t-shirt wrapped around it. Found out later I'd fallen over really quite badly then spent the next 4hours hopping round town. No idea how the t-shirt got there either

speaking of holidays me and my mate woke up with about a pint of blood on our tshirts. We then remembered that we fell out briefly and had a fight. We both headbutted each other I think. I had some great pics of this but I lost the camera 2nd to last night with all the photos on :(

T-shirts went to dry cleaners and were good as new again
 
I woke up the other week and the first thing I saw was a big gash

^ thats not too bad. mine was 'better' :p

A friend took someone to A&E and got a pic of a guy who was smashed up bad. He was still drunk though and his mate was laughing at their injuries. I may post it covering up the eyes tomorrow when i get net at home
 
Me and my mate thought it would be funny to do a 'high-5' but intentionally miss, as we got more wasted we hit each other harder, and harder... Lucky I didn't snap my arm off tbh.
