I'm interested to hear the recommendations, as I have had dry lips for as long as I can remember (yes I drink plenty, no I don't lick my lips al the time). I haven't found anything that actually clears it up, but most lipsalve things do at least some good.

If so take a high strength B - Complex tablet or capsule, and load up on Omega fatty acids. You may also be lacking in Zinc.

I usually just bite the dry dead skin off and swallow it. If you're careful, you can keep a constant layer of fresh new skin.

they are cracked but right in the middle making it incredibly sore. Damn crazy meds

Another vote for blistex, i use the relief cream. I get cracked lips when skiiing and had one split that just kept opening up when back in the uk.
Relented and got some of above slapped some on before I went to bed, next day it was as if the split was never there. No idea how it works, it just does.

Its also awesome for the sore patch you get under your nose when you get a heavy headcold wack some on (it WILL STING badly) but it will sort said area.

Remember to drink PLENTY of water as well. Sounds like the tablets are dehydrating you.

As far as I'm aware, vaseline only protects your lips and has no real moisturising properties. I would try something else, like a decent lip balm with glycerin in it maybe. I personaly don't know what's good and what isn't as I don't have a huge problem when it comes to dry lips.

So I got some Blistex and it sorted my lips out in about 2 days, however having it in the tube is a bit of a pain so I'm going to see if Carmex is just as good seeing as it's in a little tub. Thanks guys.
