Drying car interior out

Yea it's a pain in the **** that, had to help sort it out on my gf's sister's car - she'd left it like it for about 4 years

Towels in the foot well changed every time they get damp then newspaper and repeat. Then go with the de humidifier to finish off the job.

This is what I did when my MX5 decided to be open-top all year round. Old towels first and half a forest of kitchen roll, then used a cheap argos fan heater to dry the rest out when it was nearly dry.

It's worth mentioning that I had to throw out most of the insulation as it was waterlogged - not only did wringing it out pretty much destroy it, but it would have made the drying process much longer.
