DS colours

Ah right ok, thanks. Maybe we'll see these other colours in the UK in time for Christmas anyway.

this is true. no need to worry about the region on the DS.

And there are no plans, as far as im aware, to release the Ice Blue DS here, just a Japan only one.

They are all region free - or rather there is no regioning. I don't think Ice Blue is officially coming to UK so, yes import only.

Black looks sweet - I much prefer my black DS lite to my sisters' white DS lite. If she doesn't like the black one though, then you know what you need to do...

get a girlfriend with some taste!

Whilst the DS is region free and the games are region free - you can run into problems in multiplayer with some titles if you try and mix cartridges -

Also, as with Game Boy games, some games that require both players to have a Nintendo DS game card for multiplayer play will not work together if the games are from different regions (e.g. a Japanese Nintendo DS game may not work with a North American Nintendo DS game, though some titles, such as Mario Kart DS, are mutually compatible).
