DS Help

Hi guys, after having a quick blast on a mates DS lite last night, i've decided to go out in the next hour or so and buy one..

However, what games to buy? I've heard good things about mario kart, and had a little go on new super mario brothers last night, but i'm not sure these will keep me occupied for very long.

What can you guys suggest, do i dare step into the realms of animal crossing or harvest moon for longevity?

Please help, quickly!

I can't recommend trauma centre enough, it's one of my favourite games

well in the end i went for mario kart and phoenix wright.

Must say i'm really enjoying phoenix wright, considering how simple it is, but i can find myself getting bored of mario kart quite quickly, might have to reconsider my choice there.

Are there many games along the same sort of lines as phoenix wright, RPG, adventure type games?

After seeing a video on the 1up podcast i think ill be getting hotel dusk on import aswell.

I really enjoyed Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, not much replayability but good while it lasted

A lot of people are hoping for hotel dusk on here so its probably worth a look, Phoenix has my gf stuck on scenario 5 at the min though the sequel to the game is already available on import

I'd recommend -

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Animal Crossing
Mario'n'Luigi: Partners in Time
New Super Mario Bros.
Yu-Gi-Oh!: Nightmare Troubadour/ Spirit Caller

For long term play though Animal Crossing doesn't suit everyone and I don't touch it.

Elite Beat Agents is fantastic, bizzare beat-tapping game with crazy songs. Very addictive.

Once you pick up a DS...there is a reason why it is the worlds best selling handheld.
Mario Kart will keep you occupied for ages and you can take it online.
New Super Mario Brothers is good fun.
Sonic - classic and can be picked up at a good price.
Bomberman - Because it is extremely cheap and I spent months playing that in the past.

FF3 - Import is supposed to be good, gets a UK release in a couple of months.
Legend of Zelda is coming soon too.
