DS Lite - Black or White?

I think I recall seeing somewhere that one of the colours shown up fingerprints more than the other, I have a sneaking suspicion it was the black one, can anyone confirm?

Ive the black one, within 2 minutes of picking it up its covered in greasy fingerprints even if youve just washed your hands. You would really need to wear some cotton gloves to stop it

The g/f has the white one, however is just as bad due to the shiny surface, in the right light you can see the fingerprints but it has to be just right. It looks good and doesnt need cleaning as often.

If your worried about it, get the white one!

I went for a white one on the strength of the guy in Gamestation showing me a black one and letting me hold it for 2 seconds = fingerprint city.

Cant say its anything i have heard myself, nor would i of thought that any plastic like this would yellow with sweat! :confused:

However, if you buy a white one and it does go yellow (which seeing as its hardly been out long it would happen pretty fast) then you simply take it back and get a black replacement.

I had a balck one, got annoyed with the finger prints and exchanged it for a white one - which looks great, and better when open.

White all the way.

Just got a white one from gamestation 120quid with sonic + mario kart. Gmes were second hand but for 10 quid each who cares

I've had the white one for while now and the only places its gone slightly yellow are the buttons. The whole thing has a clear plastic covering which should prevent everything from going yellow.

I have the black one, sure it suffers from fingerprints but who cares? when you play it you dont see them, unless maybe you like to put your ds onto the fireplace mantle and admire it?

white is easy to look after plus looks better than the black

just choose what you like best personally, go white if you like the ipod glossy white look or black if you like sleek black gadget type look

Apparantly, black tends to show fingerprints, and the shoulder buttons of the white go yellow with age or something, though the shoulder buttons are slightly off white to begin with.

I went with the white one on the face that the black looks great when closed but the black plastic inside has a cheaper look to it because it doesn't have a gloss finish. But i guess having gloss inside would create too much glare and would be a distraction when trying to focus on the screen(s).
