Hey all,

Just bought myself a DS lite (black) very very nice console! Glad i bought it and am currently enjoying Mario kart and brain training!

One problem on mario kart i have a stuck green pixel but it doesnt show up anywhere else, not on brain training or on the DS main menu. Should i just take it back and get it replaced?

Wait 11 months then get it exchanged for a brand new one. I have a pixel that shows a dull white on black screens but only on castlevania for some reason.

I hear stuck pixels can correct them selves over time it's only when the pixel is dead (Black) that the pixal will never work. So you may wan't keep hold of it a few days and see if it sorts itself out first. Also I hear a lot of items that have and LCD screen you can only return them if there's more than one dead pixal.

I get a white stuck pixel on Metroid prime, i mentioned it on one of the other multiple ds threads and i got slated by someone saying it was ludicrous and that it doesnt make any sense. Well i guess that persons wrong :p

It makes me feel better that it happens to other people.

We're talking about nintendo here. I contacted them and any pixel fault warrants a replacement, unlike the PSP.

Pfft, doesnt say much for the build quality! My original DS is much perfecter :P

Nooo! Badger you have to trade it in for a lite ;) They are so superior that it really does feel like a new console, the screen, the design, the weight and the sexy sleekness, can't recommend it enough :D

The dpad on the DSL is terrible. Diagonal strafing in metroid is impossible and it cracks if you do a full circle.

I'll swap mine in a few months when these blatant issues are sorted.

I use the buttons for strafing.. like the right analog on a joypad would be (left thumb strap being the look control).. You play funny :P
