ds3 and IDE drives

looking at that, but im planning to run a WD 250gb IDE HDD and an IDE dvd drive

will i be able to boot it ok, i hear there is only 1 header, obviously it can support both from one header though.

Both should be ok but it would be preferable to only have one drive on the cable.

Do you already have the IDE hard drive? If so then get a SATA dvd writer, if not get a SATA hard drive as well
