DS3 & E6300 - can't get BIOS to change

Just built a DS3 and E6300 pc, I've tried changing the BIOS settings to raise FSB to get a half decent overclock, but when it seems to restart twice and then when loaded into windows cpuz shows it still at stock.

Any clues?

You are hitting the "F10" key then "enter" after making the settings in the bios? I ask this as I know of at least two ppl that weren't doing this (not on this forum I hasten to add).
If you're doing this, I suppose the next thing is to check your bios version. Update to at least "F4" bios and try again.

updated to F5 and it now works fine - bloody irritating whilst it lasted
