Have you tried loosening the TT slightly. Some ppl have found that tightening it too tightly will cause the board to short and not boot.

Yes that was my original theory, as the screws can go longer than the base plate when over tightened, but i untightened them and still nothing

im getting the exact same problem with my pc at the moment, lights come on and fans come on, including cpu one, but it doesnt post, no beeps either.

Turns out its the Tuniq Tower was causing all of the trouble - Its not the baseplate as i took the mobo out of my case and it still did it, so must be shorting out somewhere on the mobo or cpu socket?

Anyone had trouble with a Tuniq and a DS3 before?

Back to stock cooler for now :rolleyes:

hey mate, i have pretty much the same setup as you, and guess what...I removed my tuniq tower and hey presto it came on.
only problem now is that it powers down after about 30 seconds before it even gets into windows

just reseated the heatsink and it seems to be okay now, will give it a proper going over tomorrow night though.

Hmm, this is strange - im sure people must have used the tuniq and a ds3 before without issues ?!

If you manage to source the problem keep me informed - im going to have a go later again as well

yeah i would imagine there are quite a few who have the combo working together, maybe its a case of getting the fit just right, making sure its not too tight/loose against the cpu.

Any luck yet mate? Going to try seating mine really carefully tomorrow and ensure NO metal is touching any other metal... apart from the cpu obviously!

just got in mate, am using it now without the tuniq just to make sure everything is okay before i think about putting it back on.
