i just bought a 250gb sata and cant get it working! it says its their in the bios, but cant get it to show in my computer.

Iv got 2x80 in raid 0 on the gigabyte controller, and im trying to use the intel controller to run this seagate barracuda but cant get it working, iv turned it on in bios but nothing. anyone know what i have to do?

Have you tried;

Rt Click 'My Computer' --> Manage

When the management console opens choose 'Disk Management'

If the disk is showing in the bottom half of the console window but not in the top you need to assign a letter to it and format it. You can do those by Rt clicking on the disk and performing the actions from the context menu.
