Hi,

Anyone with such modem here ?
I've got it together with router - and it seems it won't allow router to have manual IP addresses in LAN, just through DHCP. There's a short story in the Internet about my modem which apparently uses internal VPN which causes stupid conflicts.. so my question - anybody with such modem and external router who is allowed manual IP addreses in LAN ?

You can always set a static IP on a LAN. It's a setting on the networked device, and nothing to do with the router.

If you're wanting a LAN side DHCP reservation then that's down to the features on the router. Whether it's possible has nothing to do with what's plugged into the router's WAN port.

Well, I know all of this, but I haven't been able to do this for more than one year ;-)
After latest removal I've changed modem - to DSL-320B - and static IP stopped working since then. I've spent few days during whole year to investigating, but since today - nothing.. Today I've tried to set up bridge mode @modem, but it wouldn't work @router side, so I've tried again with static IP and finally... I've made it. Strange enough, but it helped setting up WINS server pointed to modem which is obviously in different network (or maybe it was NetBIOS turned off, or both).
