Hi All,

Have a dying Belkin at the moment. :(

What are my best options for a reasonable priced modem/router (wireless not needed) that's easy to set up and reliable.

Thanks

Steevo

what is it for?
Your title mentions both DSL modem and a cable router (completely different things;)).

Do you need a new DSL modem with built in router, or a router to hook up to a cable/DSL modem?

I got a Netgear DG834pn a few days ago and it has been great so far.

Looks nice, has 4 network ports and wireless with mimo.

Web interface is simple but has pretty much everything you need.

Thanks for the replies

Should I just be looking for things Netgear or Linksys? From what I read these are generally good eh??

Thanks for the replies again folks.

After re loading firmware 3 times this morning I went down the road (sorry OcUK, but got folding results to send wu's to get) and went for the Netgear DG834. Setup easy and all ok so far.

Cheers

Now take a shotgun to the Belkin and put it out of it's misery. The pain caused by their cheap and nasty "network" products is huge. ;)
