As title, is it possible, feasible, etc to have a dual boot system with both Win 7 on one h/d and apple OSX on another so giving the user the option to boot into either?

Oh it'd be entirely legal old chap, I'd be using brand new bought copies of both Win 7 and OSX. I assume (perhaps wrongly) that I could instal Win 7 on one h/d and onstal OSX on the other h/d. The hardware would bought new also so the components could be chosen so there'd be compatibility issues al all (hopefully)

mmm, check on the legality of installing OSX on a non-apple purchased machine, and please post if you find anything (I couldnt) as I am interested in this too.

All I could find was OSX (even brought new) is only legit if installed on an Apple (u can only get OSX either with a mac or to upgrade a mac!)

Windows 7 will be fine, but OSX won't work, or be legal. Getting it to even install requires a completely modified DVD, and then you'll run into all sorts of compatability issues.

My advise would be to try and get a refund or sell it on, as its of zero usage to anyone without a mac.

As said, it is against the EULA to install OSX on non-apple hardware and it does require a modified OSX install to get it working on x86 systems. However, it possible and does work (and can be just as stable as an Apple machine, i have no issues).
OC forums isn't the best place for this, as i'm sure it's against forum rules, but if your serious about creating a hackintosh then Google is your friend (plenty of sites about).
