Hey guys,

I recently had a memory stick die on me and it was a 'Crucial Ballistix 1GB DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz'

I know Crucial memory is under lifetime warranty but I need new memory and quickly because I'm currently in the middle of my Univeristy dissatation.

So, now I have two sticks left in my Pc and they are 'Crucial 2GB kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Ballistix Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL4'

Can I mix the memory I still have in my Pc with the following memory and will it work in dual channel? 'Crucial Ballistix Tracer RED 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz' Code '(BL2KIT25664AR80A)'

Cheers guys,

Will

As long as you have a matched pair in slots 1 & 2 and a matched pair in 3 & 4 (or whatever combination your MB uses) then the pairs themselves can be different.
