Dual Channel

Wow, just realised that ive been running my new pc's memory in single channel mode since i built it a month ago! Any big advantages of dual channel over single channel?

Well by the looks of things, you've just increased it from 400Mhz to 800Mhz simply by putting it in dual channel xD

Dual channel mode will just double the effective bandwidth, so a nadwidth of 6400MHz effectively becomes 12800MHz. However, the speed of the RAM is still dictated by the memories clock speed, so no real advantage.
