Dual Core problems in games? ... Found a nice app

Patches cost money to make, and the engines the games are based on at the moment are not designed for dual core, some support threading for the P4HT, the games with that fly on X2's usually.

Load up menu, alt tab, change exe, alt tab back, games nerfed. You still have taskmanager running, close the exe and reload.

10 seconds, tops and it needs to be done once.

That assumes you can alt+tab naturally, quite a number of games have issues with this, such as Oblivion.

? You loose the affinity setting as soon as you close the process. So it doesn't just need to be done once. Unless you mean something else?

Is there a few games that support HT ?

I havn't even heard of anyone developing a game with dual core utilisation... :(

Oblivion came out with it. And there have been patches for Quake 4, COD2 and a few others I can't remember right now.

Seems to make a big difference too, Oblivion's FPS doubled after I upgraded from a 64 3500+. And Quake showed about the same improvement after I patched it.
