Hey there
Well I was planning on upgrading my CPU from an Athlon 64 3200+ to an Athlon X2 3600+ but I just found out that I need to know if my motherboard can support dual core, if not it's pointless buying a dual core CPU. My mobo is a socket 939 in a HP Pavilion from 2006, it has 1x PCI-E x16 slot aswell. I am just giving this info as a general guide to how old my computer is an if you think it's age has any part on if the mobo could support dual core CPU's. Also, could someone recommend a program where it will tell me if it has dual core support or not, and where in the program I can find this.
