Dual Display Problem

I got another monitor today so i could have dual display, but when i set everything up, and started my computer, but the two monitors just show the same thing, i went to properties -> Settings -> identify, and a 1 came up on both monitors
i have also tryed the nvidia settings in the taskbar and downloaded ultramon and changed the settings in them, but nothing..

my monitors are Acer AL1717 and GNR TS700 and my graphics card is a Geforece FX5200 anybody know how to fix this??

did you tick extend windows to the other monitor?

Yes i have.

also i took a print screen and that shows dual display, but the monitors are like clone is selected (but its not)

download ultra mon n give i a go with that.... what gfx card u using?

change from Clone Mode to Dual View in the nVidia options

definitely download ultramon and sort everything out there, been running the program on my 2 Samsung 930BFs for a while now, no problems atall.
Having 2 seperate taskbars is a nice feature i hated at first but cant not use now

Ultramon for me aswell.

Been running Dual Screen for 12 months with it.

Don't use the Nvidia screen software , Ultramon with set you up in a couple of mins.

The problems fixed, i got a new graphics card and its displaying it right
