Awesome looking beast :D how does this compare to the 2x295? I'm guessing faster, less energy hungry and with double the VRAM?

Also does anyone think it's odd they bundle a £100 mouse with it when they could have supplied the required 1Kw PSU instead? lol

I think raw performance in benchmarks will be very similar to the 295 X2, butt this will be better for gaming due to double the VRAM per GPU. :)

Holy Mother of Satan!! 16GB VRAM!!! I currently have a 295x2 myself, but one day, when and if these go down in price, I just might get one. Imagine crossfiring two of these doe!! 32GB VRAM!!

and 8GB per GPU for a total of 16GB of memory.

Doing a bit of a DFS advert on you, making it sound better than what it is. It'll still be 8 gig of vRAM. 8 per gpu die. Xfiring will still give you 8 per gpu die.

To clarify,

Is this 16GB split? I.e. 8GB per GPU?
Is it DX12 ready?

Don't think I'll be moving from my TX.

8GB per card, DX12 ready. It's tempting but my Titan is underwater now so won't be changing for a while I don't think. Next change for me will be when a significant number of games are DX12 and SLI/CF is running a lot more smooth. I don't think I've ever spoken to anyone who hasn't had issues with CF/SLI.

Also the power draw for this dual GPU is 675W minimum I think.

This better than the 980TI HOF 8 pack edition ?
Wondering should I swap my 980TI for this on my new build !!

Well, doesnt this card consist of 2x "290"(@390) while 295X2 consists of 2x 290X..?
The X is missing, and if so, then stream processors and texture units as well..

So how ur statement can be true ? :)
