Dual GPU Question

Before I spend too much time troubleshooting, can anyone confirm if it’s possible to run dual 4060 Ti GPUs for 8 monitor outputs (4 outputs on each card)?

Here’s the setup:

• I’ve installed two 4060 Ti cards in an Asrock B650E TaichiAM5 motherboard, which has two full 16x PCIe slots.
• Both cards are powered by a Corsair 1000W PSU, and they both physically spin up.
• However, in Windows, only one card (the one in the first slot) is detected. GPU-Z also only shows one card.

This setup is for a workstation, not gaming. I plan to test swapping the cards in the first slot, but before I dive deeper, I wanted to check if this configuration is even feasible.

TL;DR: Installed dual 4060 Ti cards in a workstation for 8 monitor outputs, but only one card is detected in Windows. Is this setup possible?

Is M.2 slot 3 occupied? If it is, the second PCI-E slot is disabled.

Do you have any display connected to the second card? They can power down if you don't have anything connected.

In the manual it specifically says the slot is used for graphics cards, so I'd imagine that ASRock do intend this configuration.

You could try emailing them to ask if there's anything you need to do in the BIOS.

I do have the NVME drive in the second of the two slots on the motherboard so that might be my issue.

Gives me something to work with. Least I know I am not trying to make something that never would.

From a quick look at the manual, I think M.2 slot 1 is on the right and M.2 slot 3 is just above the second PCI-E.
