dual monitors

hi guys, have just set up dual monitors but i have a small problem. is there anyway so that if i click on my computer on the 2nd monitor it opens there and if i click it on the 1st monitor it opens there. so far it just remebers where it was last open.

also is there a way to mirror the desktop icons on both monitors? im using dual view mode.

Highlight them all, right click, press copy, put the cursor on the 2nd monitor and right click and press paste?

To use 2 screens do you have to have 2 gfx cards or can u use the dvi and vga ports off one card?

You can use the DVI + VGA Ports off of one card

Aye, tis true! You will need to get a DVI to VGA adapter if both monitors are VGA.

Me three.

I did have 3 monitors and 1tv output, but now ive only got 2 monitors and the tv output. Ive also got the graphics crds hooked up in SLI, so if I want to play a game, I can simply disable the other screens and run the SLI on the primary screen.

I've acutally got 4 TFT's and TV output, however only 3 TFT's running (well 2 lol as my PC blew up) waiting for some new parts.

Dual monitors is the best, and you can make shortcuts on each screen
