Dual Screen Performance

I've been fiddling around with a new build for sometime, and I was just curious as to the kind of performance drop one might see when using a 8800GTX with two 24" screens as opposed to just one.

Also, if only one was used for games, while the other was just for browser/music/etc would that decrease the performance hit?

shouldn't have any problems - you're only gaming on one and the GTX can handle that easily enough.
whether you need 2*24" is another question though, is there anything else in your spec that could benefit from the £400+ you're thinking of?
