Rightio, I currently have a Hyundai B70A 17" TFT with a lazy pixel that comes back to haunt me every so often. I am getting a Samsung SM913N 19" TFT second hand that's in decent nick.

I want to know what my options are as I only have a 6800GS card, which won't play BF2 on high settings on my 17" let alone on the new monitor i'm buying. As I will be using both screens, the 17" as my secondary web browsing monitor, and the 19" as my primary monitor for games etc, I was thinking that it might be a little lacking in power.

Should I hunt down a cheap PCI (as in normal PCI) gfx card to use for my secondary monitor (only use will be maybe movies when i'm playing WoW and general 2D work) or will my 6800GS be able to hack doing 3D and 2D at the same time for seperate monitors?

ooh, one more thing. Are there any programs which will help with using dual monitors, i remember hearing about one called ultra-something?

you will only really be using the 2nd monitor in 2d desktop and you graphics card should be ok for that - I was using a 6600gt with 2 monitors. BF2 will default to the primary monitor so it shouldnt cse a problem.

Dont bother with a pci card - your gfx will be more than good enough - i used mine to monitor temps as i was gaming :D
