DualShock3 - Worth It?

Looking at £40 for a DS3 as my SixAxis that came with the console has become a little unresponsive and the left analogue stick.....sticks :p

£40 as I have no method of payment for importing.

Is it worth £40 or should I just get another SixAxis?
 
Yes and yes. Its such a huge improvement over the sixaxis.

1. The rumble really does make a difference.
2. Alittle bit heavier. This just makes it better to hold.
3. Much better analogue sticks. Better control

Not worth £40 tbh. What payment methods do you have available to you, dependent on this you can get it cheaper easily in the UK).

It's worth it as long as you don't drop a three foot tall speaker onto it virtually popping it apart and making the left stick...stick.
Feels a bit more meaty, analogue sticks are more responsive, never thought I'd miss rumble but am glad of its return, are you sure you can't find it cheaper though ?

Only suggestion for you then is get someone else to pay online for you and change delivery address to your house (after you have bank transferred them the cash).

I think £40 is too much for a standard controller (i.e. non joystick,wheel etc). It is worth £34.99 and no more.

Just bought one of these (well two by mistake :rolleyes: ) really looking forward to giving it ago as the SIXAXIS feels so cheap.

Just wish that the DS3 were included in the PS3 as I really think it is a lot of money for a controller.
 
Anyone else find the rumble doesn't seem as good as on PS2 models though?
Perhaps in light of saving the battery. It's certainly not as noticeable as the 360 anyways.
 
Yes, although it's been said before!

I got the Sixaxis with my PS3 and I didn't like it to be honest. I missed the rumble and it was far too light

The DualShock 3 is far better being heavier and more substantial. The rumble's great

The only thing that I can say the Sixaxis had going for it was battery life IMO - it lasted and lasted
