Hi all,

Probably going to have a few hours stop over at Dubai Airport but it is in the middle of the night (about 3am). Is there anything to do in the airport at that time?

Thanks

Daven

Exactly the same as any other major airport.

What a pointless thread.

errr some airports aren't really "open" at night and are pretty dead. So not really a pointless thread. If it is so pointless then why have you posted?

Thanks for the proper replies people.

Just to support Daven1986's post, Nairobi International Airport had nothing for me to do, apart from just sitting down and watching the hands of the clock turning slowly...

Dubai airport is lively... and I think you will like. When are you going, and what destination? Also have a look at the cars they have on "competition", and take some snaps or take snaps of other tourists taking snaps. :)

Going to Tanzania in Oct / Nov. Am also flying emirates :D

I remember having one of the nicest pizzas in Dubai airport the last time I went (about 6 years ago and in the daytime!)!

there is always the marhaba lounge, used to be 10 or 20 dollars for 4 hours in there. Once in there eat and drink all you can, sleep, or surf. If you are flying Emirates economy then the Marharba lounge is for as long as your stopover, for the same price. And it really comfy. Its up past the irish bar, on the same side. But that was before the new terminal / extension opened, so not sure if its the same.

that sounds pretty good :) thanks
