I'll put my special (Yellow LED's) with a couple of the Yellow engraved keys on a low pulse later and video it if you wish?

I pre-ordered the ABS White Shine set too... But it was more like a back-order (that never got stock) than a pre-order which never arrived as they were EOL before OcUK even listed them! :(

Thank you very much for offering, but don't go to all the hassle of video and upload etc. I've managed to find a few pictures, including on page1 here the guy posts a picture of his shine3 with the LED's on and engraved keys. It doesn't look terrible, but I don't think I could bring my OTT picky-ness to accept it and tolerate it as much as I tried :p

It wouldn't be that much hassle mate, as you can see from my pic above I have several of the Yellow engraved keys fitted still. As for actually viewing them... I find it difficult, not sure if it's the combination of Yellow LED & Yellow keys, my eyes or the design.

You can see in Ducky's picture the amount of bleed you get at top brightness LED's:

Ideally I'm looking for a Shine set that are printed PBT, in Yellow, Blue or White... A Black set would be nice but pretty sure they don't glow! ;)
 
Yeah that's exactly the picture I was refering to. I guess it'll bleed like that and illuminate keys in the dark, just won't illuminate the letters which isn't the end of the world, not as if I even look at the keyboard when typing....... So why do I need the letters illuminated?!?

I'm even convincing myself that I am just a muppet the more I think about this. Far too picky.

I think your yellow LED's would be fine with white keys, but yellow on yellow might be causing it to be a bit harder. And I actually think the grey shine set would look pretty cool on your double yellow board, but then those aren't PBT. There's no complete happy way forward here! haha.
 
Yeah, I'm back to waiting to see what kepcap sets Ducky bring out next! Release date of the Shine III ? ;)
 
Looks like some brown switches have come in stock at the lower price. Im sure you will i be making purchase at some point today.
 
I've ordered a white printed set of the doubleshots.

Will do a video comparing them to the yellow duckys when they arrive :)
 
Bought a brown switch blue led shine 3 in the end
I have some led colour changers soon. So hopefully I can make a nice fancy multicoloured monstrosity.
