Ducky Shine 3 squeaky spacebar

Hi Guys

I recently got a Ducky shine 3 TKL with MX reds and really like the keyboard. Just a little problem of the spacebar squeaking every so often. Has anyone got a similar problem and know how to fix it?

I did remove the spacebar and reseated it which helped for a little while but now it is back. I read about lubricating it but wouldn't know where to start or what lubricant to buy. Also on another note is it worth getting the O-rings which OCUK sell?

Had the same problem, Sent mines back and got a K70.

I kinda like the keyboard so don't want to change it for another ideally. Funnily enough since posting the original message the squeak has disappeared. I did find this link http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,misc&pid=mechlube_2 which shows a picture of the part that needs lubing. So if it returns I will give it a go.

Watch some videos on how to lube the switches, from the ones Ive seen you have to take the actual switch apart to stick the lube in.

Maybe it is the metal balance bar that could do with a dab of normal grease at each end?

Had to use PTFE Lube for my AKG K712' pro headphones as they squeaked each time I moved my head.
