I am thinking of taking out the covers on the empty 5.25" bays at the front of my coolermaster 335 and running a plastic duct from the hole to the pull fan of my hyper tx3. I hope it will bring temps down a bit.

Has anyone done anything like this? Sound like a good idea?

Also if anyone has done this, where do I get decent ducting? I had a look on everyone's favourite auction site  and it seemed to be kind of expensive.

Unless the duct is straight and smooth, Then it wouldn't do much.

Can you put a fan in the front section of the case anyway? Put one there if you haven't already.

Edit: How is your case set up? Is the heatsink for the CPU pushing air out the back of the case? Just when you said arranging it to the pull fan?

currently I have a fan at the bottom front of my case pulling air in and one at the middle back pushing air out. I then have 2 fans on my hyper tx3 pushing air in the same direction.

I was just thinking that if the air going into the tx3 was straight from the outside rather than from the inside of the case (presumably a bit warmer) then the cpu temps might be a bit lower. So put a pipe between the outside and the start of the tx3 to achieve this. I could even have another case fan pulling air into the pipe.

That nexus thing looks interesting puma. I might have a look for reviews.

Thanks for the help guys. :)

Take a look at the Sythe Kama Bay aswell. I'm not sure if they're still in production or not, But you can still get your hands on one if you look around. Thats probably ideal for what you want.

Thats really cool. I might try to find one for cheap. Not sure if I want to pay £25 for a 120mm fan. If I can get one 2nd hand that would be awesome.

Thanks for the help guys.:D
