duff 7950?

Unfortunately, no not the Beverage. In contrast to my previous thread, I may have a slight problem with my ASUS DCII 7950 TOP 900/1250, I was wondering if a few abnormalities I've noticed were normal (they wouldn't be abnormalities if there normal... I know)

So first things first, Once the GPU clock is set higher than 1000Mhz, It will crash in any game, at about 10-15 mins in. (bf3 crashes at 2-3mins). I have also had some abnormal readings in Unigine, with the settings from the thread I was scoring around the 1700 even with my CPU at 4ghz and my card at 1000mhz. I thought this was quite low..

Any help would be appreciated as Im at a loss. edit: Im running the 12.11 Beta Drivers with I believe the 12.10 CAPS

i5 2500k @ 4ghz
16gb Vengeance Corsair Ram
60gb Intel SSD
ASUS DCII 7950 TOP 900/1250

Did you bump the voltage up? Some chips will need extra voltage to clock higher...

I bumped it up in CCC to 20% On the power control setting, But I hear CCC is pretty terrible. I'll re-run it using msi-afterburner and report back

So I used msi-afterburner to up the voltage to 1200 or 1.2
and got this;

Then overclocked it with Trixx and afterburner to get 1175;1500 @ 1.2mv
and got this;

I know it's a noob question to ask but is this, good/average/expected of an overclocked 7950?

It's there or thereabouts although you shouldn't need that much voltage at those clocks.
Your card looks like it might clock pretty well.
