Dumb AM4 board problem

I've got an A320 motherboard second hand. It came with a backplate but no plastic mounts with clips that earlier AMD coolers would have come with.

I got a 2600X. I tried to mount my Silverstone AR01 and broke the AMD backplate by snapping one of the heatsink mount screw things inside the backplate by screwing it too much.

I ordered a replacement backplate from eBay but the legs/mounts don't stick up far enough through the board to let me mount a stock AMD cooler (which weirdly didn't use the plastic clip things all the motherboards seem to come with...)

So now I have an unusable heatsink and an unusable backplate, a crap backplate that doesn't really fit and the stock cooler bit nothing to mount it to!

Does anyone know where I can get an "official" am4 back plate from? Do I even need the playsuits plastic clip things? Or can anyone recommend an aftermarket cooler that has its own backplate for AM4?
