Dumb Question

When I read the clock frequencies on Nvidia settings for my 7900GTX after installing coolbits it reads: -

core clock frequency 650 MHz
memory clock frequency 800 MHz

is the memory clock doubled and is in fact 1600 MHz

Its still dual data rate (DDR) but its the graphics variant (the G) and its third generation GDDR (hence the 3).

mine runs at 700/1800 so there is loads of room for improvement.
