Dumb question

I know this sounds a bit dumb but how do I remove a PCI card from the PCI slot? I can see a little lever but no visible means of turning it

Just lift it slightly.

Take your case outside or you'll have a sneezing fit if you try and take that card out.

I'm replacing it but it will be cleaned. The PSU is worse though.

deffo clean up the psu they can get quiet hot under load and dust settling on the components don't really help

How would I go about cleaning inside the PSU? The side was left off for 9 months.

WITH THE POWER OFF BUT STILL PLUGGED IN (Caps because it's VERY IMPORTANT as it keeps the PSU earthed. Switch it off at the plug socket!) get some compressed air in a can to blow through it but I'd also recommend something short to stop the fan from spinning as it can cause a small charge to go back into the PSU. I've seen a motherboard go pop when a mate was hoovering inside his case and the CPU fan fed back a charge into the mobo and a capacitor went 'pop'.
