dumb tyre question

i think i can manage that, was just asking as the tread pattern is differen on the 2 sets. front pair have straight grooves & rear are wiggly

simple answer yes so long as they are the same size.

@Fox - I guess he wants to find which way offers the better grip level for his driving style, nout wrong with that.

yeh i put a pair of federal ss 657 on the front just before xmas and the grip seems really poor, they just want to spin everytime you pull out at junctions. the front and back are the same size

Strada, just a cheap make of tyre, not had any problems with them though. if they are rubbish too i will get some better make's its not worth the risk really

How bigs your car? If you've only got a small car you can pick up something like a Continental EcoContact 3 for just £25-£30 a tyre, so having decent tyres needn't break the bank :)

its only a R reg micra, if you order them online are garages fine about fitting them?
yes, some companies also do an all inclusive price, buy them online and go to your local garage to get them fitted, you dont even need to handle the tyres.
