I'm just watching the last ep of Dragon's Den on iPlayer and is it just me or is Duncan Bannatyne looking pretty unwell? It might just be all the ancient episodes I've been watching but he seems to have aged massively lately!

He's 60 now and I think he's starting to show his age. I was reading his wiki last night after the show and apparently he has had plastic surgery on his face, which would explain why he hasn't looked that old until recently.

He's never 60?!

Edit: Born 2 February 1949 (1949-02-02) (age 60)

he looks phenomenal

He is the most miserable, tightest, meanest of them imo.
Why does he bother going on it when he rarely invests in anything on there.
Although looks good for 60 if thats true.

He's 60?! Would never have guessed that. How can you say he's the worst dragon, Deborah is so much worse.

He invested £40k last night :p. I agree with you on the miserable though, perhaps it's just the way the show is edited but he comes across as a bit of a prat.

Deborah is by fat the worst. Theo is the best. I don't mind Duncan, can be a bit grumpy, but I guess that comes with the age :D

I've only ever seen Bannatyne invest in one thing; some day care thing run by a fellow Scottish woman who...<<it was obvious>> he wanted to hump. I remember the pitch being rejected by the other dragons, then inexplicably he gave her what she wanted out of the blue.

Wiki said:
A second party was held in the North East which was headlined by UK soul singer Beverley Knight and featured Chesney Hawkes.

Bannatyne is stingy. Chesney only warrants a £5 ticket price in our guild.

He looks about 50+

Deborah is useless she only invest in stuff in leisure she should be booted off.
Agreed - Deborah Meaden is by far the worst dragon on the show.

I like Peter Jones the most, because he seems to be the one who is prepared to back someone when others have slated the person, and when he explains his reasoning, it sounds sensible.

Saying that, James Caan (sp?) and Theo Paphitis have also taken the odd risk and invested in some off-the-wall ideas. That's what I like to see.

Deborah Meaden and Duncan Bannatyne both tend to play it way too safe, for my liking. Neither of them really takes a gamble.

Quite glad the smug bloke (Richard Farleigh...?) and the useless bint who screwed up the Red Letter Days company (Rachel El-something-or-other) aren't in it any more. They were both as bad - if not worse - as Deborah Meaden and Duncan Bannatyne.

Oh, and the Yank was good too.... can't remember his name though. He was able to spot someone trying to BS him from a mile away :D

Plus I hate it when they go well I will offer you 20% for half of the money then another dragon says they will offer the same. So they end up nearly half of their company gone for the money they want.

It happens every episode and is just a kick in the teeth.

Someone correct me if it's not true but one single dragon has made more money out of investments from the show than they have all invested put together. Khan and Jones are the only ones who are decent.

What winds me up though is for example on the last episode that Sharon women had the complete package and was just looking for advice, she says 15% for 50k it's a fantastic business that is making money, the dragons say give us 25%. Just a joke.
