So my build has been completed and been running for a few weeks (like 3 or 4) and already most of the inside is covered with dust. I'm not talking loads, but a definate film already.

The airflow is coming in through the top of the case, through the rad, pulled by the fans mounted underneath the rad, and then pushed out of the case rear.

Is there some sort of dust filter which can be used on the top 3 120mm holes to stop this so some degree, or would it impede the airflow too much, or just clog up.

Any other suggestions?

Yea theres loads of different fan filters you can get i recomend the magnetic ones easy to remove and clean as often as needed :)

Cheers :) I've just this minute been looking at the magnetic ones.

I'll get 3 ordered, and some compressed air to clean it all out and start fresh again

Can I ask why you have case-top fans as intake.
Youre fighting internal thermal current as well as assisting gravity in filling your case with dust!

Intake on front and bottom, exhaust top and back ;)

I did think that it's just helping the dust fall into the case.

It's the Corsair 800D case which has no front intake, the bottom intake has no fan on it, and it only pulled through by the fan on the false floor above it. So the only fans really doing anything are the 3 on the radiator in the case roof and the 140mm one on the case rear.

I did have this the other way round with the rear as an intake and the radoator fans pushing through the rad and out the top, but it was suggested to have the fans pull through cold air from the outside through the rad as it would be better for temps.

A lot of large cases with basements use the top fans as intakes, the TJ07 is the same.

I'm having dust issues as well with my system, I have a coal fire in the living room and that's where my PC is, so there is quite a lot of dust around, I need to get some filters asap!!
