DV Tapes

Would i be right in assuming the quality of the video footage will be the same, whether i use a premium quality tape vs a cheapo brand? The DV encoding should still result in identical quality? Ive not bought any tapes beyond that which came bundled with the camera and its been over a year now!

a good quality tape will last longer. remember, its still tape, and just like an audio tape it can stretch with repeated use.
