dvd author software etc

Hi there All, I am in the process of getting into making dvds of t.v shows ,and want to know what people are using for good dvd authoring software,something that makes menus and burns the dvd disc afterwards ? I have tried 'FT DVD Author' 4.0 which is ok ,but burnt the dvd upside down ! All info ,software etc will be helpful thanks Nj :confused:

have you tried any of these?
roxio mydvd
ahead nero 7
roxio easy media creator
sonic mydvd studio
ive never tried any of this myself,just found these programs recommended in a pc mag'. i should imagine others have a better idea on here and will help you out more.

Personally I don't bother with menu's because unless you spend ages on them they look pretty gay!! lol

Not, sure as my PC's TV tuner generates mpeg files for me.

You should look into a Software called ConvertXtoDVD, It converts most files to fit on a DVD and burns it too. It also put in a menu that you can change in some basic ways, I've never had any issues with it.
