Dvd player with usb

Hi chaps, I am after a upscaling dvd player with usb that can play divx formats ect, hdmi output.
Not sure what to go for prehaps someone has a model that plays avi,divx with no problems and you could be kind enough to tell me what it is.

sumvision phoenix dvd player. I bought one (2 actually, one for a family friend) many years ago from here I think (Overclockers).

Play's DivX, Has USB Port for playing files from a USB Thumb drive or external HD (Has to be Fat32).

Works fine. Still have mine today. think I only Paid about £30 or so.

Cheap DVD player (They nearly all have HDMI) + media streamer? If you google "DVD Player USB" you'll get loads of results. But not all of them will play the formats you require. WDTV has a USB connector and plays everything. And you can pick up a DVD player practically for free these days

How about a ps3? afaik it does all u want and is also a media extender

Why not get a Blu-ray player with a USB? these can now play HD .mkv files as well as divx, might last you a bit longer...

Sony BDP-S380 (just one example, Google for more makes and models, sure I've seen one for about £60)

Edit, The one above has USB NTFS support , very useful.

Well I got a

LG BP620 3D Blu-ray disc player and it does all I want. Full wireless and using the software supplied I can stream all my music and films ect to the tv.
The play back quality is really great as is the audio.
The upscaling is just fantastic.
Also has played every file type I flung at it so far.
