Ok im going to embarrass myself now :rolleyes:

Im looking to purchase the following card

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-044-CO)

I have a Samsung 172V Monitor which isnt DVI, do I need to purchase an adaptor to connect it to the card?

Yes you will need to buy a VGA to DVI cable. Roughly around £10 give or take a couple of quid depending where you buy it from of course.

All the RETAIL cards i've bought since a miserable FX5200 have come with a DVI>VGA adaptor. Donno what Voy06's on about really :mad:
