What is the difference between DVI-I and DVI-D

I checked the sticky but i couldnt find anything

DVI-D (digital only)
DVI-I (integrated - digital and analog)

Then there are single and dual link versions of each of those. Single link being limited to a maximum resolution of 1920x1200@60hz. Dual link being capable of going higher.

Oh okay the monitor im getting only supports DVI-D which is fine then thanks

All DVI ports on monitors only support DVI-D.

What really matters is, is the DVI port on the graphics card
