hi guys

i switched from gtx 285 to crossfire 4890s and when i boot up i get no signal on the monitor

i tried both dvi and hdmi ports - nothing
tried all 4 ports on the cards - nothing
monitor and cables worked fine with gtx 285 - so they are ok

i just get plain no signal, no even bios can be seen, so there's no chance to update drivers or select any options

sadly i dont have vga cable probably that one would work :/

any ideas please

i havent tried clearing cmos yet, because i have all overclocked settings there, should i try it or there is some other obvious solution ?

Crossfire is setup using the ATI catalyst programe within windows, can you use one card see if that works.

PSU is more than enough.

Like already mentioned are both power cables installed and can you try a different monitor or cables or motherboard.

it's not like im building pc first time

yes all power cables are installed, and all cables and monitor and motherboard were working fine 2 days ago with gtx 285

as i mentioned in first post the computer boots up in windows, theres just nothing on the screen

graphics card's fan is spinning so i assume it's not faulty (tried both cards together and separately and in different slots and different ports, and different channels hdmi/dvi)
