I think ive just made a boo boo.
Ive ordered a new system to play games on. I use a Mac all the time cept for games. My 24 inch Samsung TFT has only 1 DVI and 1 VGA output (and a composite i think - Samsung 244T the screen is). My Macbook Pro uses the DVI port and I wanted to run the new system through the 24inch screen aswell and have just reaelised now that i only have the VGA port free :/
The new system us only going to be used for games - so if I used a DVI to VGA converter am I going to lose crap loads of quality?
The card I have ordered is a 512MB Gainward 7900GS Bliss, PCI-E (x16), Mem 1320MHz, GPU 450MHz, 20 Pipes, Dual DVI/HDTV which has 2x DVI out.
Just to clarify - I want to run my Macbook Pro off the DVI like I always have done, and then on the VGA cable stick a converter on it so that the Gainward card is actually VGA. Am i going to losing lots of quality?
