That isn't really a show stopper, you can plug a VGA monitor into a DVI port if you get the right convertor.

I've seen people say there is little to no difference between using DVI and VGA, but on the Dell 2405's I've got at home, and the 2005's I have at work, I noticed a big difference running them with DVI.
