I find that impossible to belive.... imagine 1 year on and then Nvidia releasing a mid range card for November/Xmas..... for crysis and UT3 ?

I think its just a rumour/false info out there, im sticking with my 'Not like Nvidia say no to money rule'

if it's true, u can't do nothing about it..

companys can change what they say at any time...

the current DX10 cards are the FX series of DX10, can run it, just not that well

Read what mrk posted. The fx cards were slow because nvidia thought game design/directx was going to go a different way than it did. These cards have nothing in common at all with the fx range in terms of sales, speed and future markets.

I think that's what the article answered. It said that because they had to redisign directx10 from the ground up, rather than just tweaking and adding to the previous versions, they had to cut out compatibility with older OS's as they just wouldn't be able to integrate it.

ive been thinking about the whole upgrading to the new cards (if they come out in november) but ive come to decide i am still strongly in love with xp, dx9 is gona do me till next year midtime.
