Dying Light

Picked this up today and got to say, I'm impressed. It wasn't quite what I was expecting which happens to be a good thing in this case. I like the free running element, it has a great tense feeling through the missions.
 
So now that I've finished Witcher, Batman, and feeling pretty much done with Destiny, I'm now needing a new game. Definitely tempted by Dying Light - is it worth picking up now I can get it for £25?
 
If you have some friends to play it with, it was worth £40. Great game imo. Get your drop kick on!

I think it's a brilliant game - but I love these types of 'end of the world' games :D

It's fun, has some pretty decent sized areas, lots to do - albeit a little rinse and repeat at times.

For the price, you can't go wrong imo.
 
Got into old town a couple of nights ago and heading to the museum at the moment.

great game, not at all what I was expecting. It gets better as you go through the game which is always good.

I got it for £20 on the rain forest with the help of a voucher from work so am pretty happy :)

Some one mentioned earlier they they had experienced from framerate drops. I only noticed it after I'd plugged in my Kinect so I removed it and there are still occasional drops. I've got the xbox on "instant on" so I am wondering if I should power the xbox down properly and see if that helps.

Nobody is getting a free expansion, though it is part of the Season Pass if you own that.

Everybody will get certain 'enhancements' to the game though, meaning some graphics improvements and new parkour moves and whatnot. The expansion content is paid.
 
Picked this up 2nd hand today in preparation for the new DLC. Rather good fun in co-op, especially at night when it's every man for himself to get back to base alive ha.
 
Got this for Xmas! My god it's awesome! Looks amazing and really captures the essence of, what I can assume, is a zombie outbreak. There is a real sense of dread at night and in dark areas. It's very much a case of far cry meets dead rising. Looking forward to the expansion. I take it that it will be the same sort of affair as destiny where they will sell the original game with the expansion and dlc in one? Wonder what will be the cheapest way to get all the new content? Season pass?
