Can you dye a wig using normal hair colouring?

I'm looking to get a wig like this but I want to dye it blonde, well more yellow really.

EDIT: I could just use yellow spray hair colouring could I...

According to this website only use normal hair dye if it’s a human hair wig (which I presume it isn't). For synthetic wigs they recommend fabric/clothes dye

If you do a google for blonde Elvis wigs it looks like a lot of the places that sell them also have them available in blonde, lot easier to buy it already blonde no?
