Hey fokes, Am using low FPS issues with Dying light.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.7Ghz
GPUS : 2 X 980s watercooled.
Windows 8.1

Sli and Non SLI make zero dent in FPS, Am going to go with it's "Just the game that's broken" however checking google a lot of people claim that the main issue is there computer isn't good enough for it. Clearly mines is.

My FPS range from 20 fps to 60fps, Jumping a lot.

I also run G-sync but never really changes if it's on or off.

I had problems with updating graphics drivers, I tried it and got a blue screen, Ran DDU and it refused to install drivers. Had to go through hell before windows finally gave in and reinstalled GPU drivers.

After that there is still no change in FPS.

I'll try a steam validtation but I doubt it will help. Is that a 85fps at max settings?

Did you do the above?

Assuming SLi is enabled?

Have you tried low and high settings in game to see if there is a difference?

SLI as enabled as in the photo you can clearly see the game using both GPUs.

Running different settings still gives me bad FPS. Settings do nothing.

Definitely something not right then. I've got everything maxed except the view distance to about a third up and it doesn't drop below 60fps. Following on from what Snips said, it sounds like a driver issue or something else up with your system. Every other game playing fine?

Just played a little of payday 2, 100FPS avg with SLI on.

Have you turned off film grain?

Maybe double check the SLI settings in NVinspector and rollback to Nvidia drivers before the latest.

I had a few issues with dying light as well until I turned off film grain AND rolled back drivers, was getting drops to about 25fps, and now it doesn't drop below 60

Filgrain is off yea, I donno about rolling back drivers, With my other games running fine I don't wanna ruin it for just one game if you know what I mean.

I think the only fix for this game is going to be called windows 10.

Am hoping it wont be too long and it's a free upgrade for most windows users, A start over will no doubt help every game :P

Thats really strange and no doubt frustrating!

Yea, Very pretty game and it looks really fun but I can't play it with such low fps with a 144 g-sync screen and twin 980s. No way :(

It could even go down to being my SSDs or a problem with windows.... Or ram... Or something.

But I can't see how I get 135 fps on payday and 40 on dyling light. Ohwell :P

CPU set back to 4ghz and voltage to auto made no change, Still low FPS.

Am wiping the game and redownloading/installing it then. After that if no dice am not entirely sure anymore. Could be anything honestly.

But thank you for the support guys, Should update this when the game downloads again but its a big game :P
